At least five students died on Tuesday, April after a 14-seater matatu they were traveling in collided with a lorry at Delamere area on Nakuru-Nairobi highway.
Confirming the incident, Naivasha police boss Samuel Waweruhi said the matatu was carrying students to Nairobi when the accident occurred.
Seven students were injured during the incident and were rushed to Naivasha Sub-county Hospital for treatment.
None of the lorry’s occupants was injured.
