The socialite shared the news with fans through her Instagram stories on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
“I love this little life,” Sherlyne wrote.
The big reveal comes nearly a year after her highly publicized wedding to her ‘mzungu bae’ was called off.
“Our little miracle is on the way. I dreamed for you. I prayed for you. I manifested you. Thank you for entering my womb and making me realise how blessed I am!” she wrote, giving fans a glimpse into her heartfelt journey to motherhood.
The California-based socialite, known for her involvement in Club Covid and her former relationship with ex-Kiss FM host Oga Obinna, shared in June 2023 about why her engagement to her American fiancé ended.
She revealed that issues arose after her fiancé’s family researched her background online and discovered unsettling aspects of her past, which led them to advise against the marriage.
Reflecting on the experience, Sherlyne admitted that her family had warned her about the online content she’d shared, but she had ignored their advice.
“The main thing that got me to say was that I was going to get married at one point. The family decided to google my name, and everything was about Xtian Dela and all the things I used to do as a 19-year-old. The Mzungu guy liked me a lot, but the family was like, ‘This is a red flag’, and advised their son not to marry me,” Sherlyne recounted during an interview.
She added, “I didn’t listen to them. I wish I hadn’t posted those nude videos. I wish I had kept it all private.”
While acknowledging the challenges her past actions brought, Sherlyne clarified that her only regret was not understanding at a young age how her choices might impact her future.
“By me regretting, it doesn’t mean that I’m not ok right now. I’m very ok. Maisha haijanipiga. Now that my brain thinks differently, like nimeoutgrow vitu nilikuwa nafanya,” she concluded.
