Court of Appeal judge Aggrey Muchelule sealed his union with Judy Kerich in a traditional wedding held late on Friday, November 29, 2024.
The traditional wedding (Koito) held in Kesses Constituency, Uasin Gishu County was filled with pomp and colour as the two love birds solemnised their union.
Different cultures were displayed in the traditional marriage ceremony which high profile individuals attended.
Some eminent persons who graced the traditional wedding included the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Masika Wetang’ula.
“I hope your future together is filled with infinite happiness, laughter, and love,” Wetang’ula’s statement read in part.
“With the marriage bringing together two communities, I called on the attendees to utilize the vibrant cultures of the two tribes, embrace diversity it offers and to look beyond the tribes and have a national outlook,” it added.
Chief of Staff Felix Koskei, Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi, Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii, Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago and Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa were among the leaders who attended the traditional wedding ceremony.
Muchelule’s colleagues from the Judiciary also graced the fete.
“Wishing them a joyful beginning as they embark on this new chapter together,” Fernandes posted on X after attending the event.
