Governor Wavinya Ndeti has received six women Governors under the auspices of G7 who will be in Machakos for a two-day development tour.
Addressing the media at a Machakos hotel where she ushered in the county chiefs, Wavinya said the forum will serve to showcase the gains of devolution and exchange governance ideas with fellow women governors.
She said the climax of the forum will be on Friday at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos where over 10,000 women will congregate for the activation of the G7 caucus.
Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru who is also the CoG chair said the idea of G7 was to encourage those aspiring for leadership positions.
Waiguru also declared the G7 was behind the embattled Meru Governor, Kawira Mwangaza who is staring at an impeachment.
