The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) website has crashed.

This comes shortly after Education Cabinet Secretary Migos Ogamba announced the release of the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.

This year, the Ministry of Education announced that the KNEC portal would be the sole platform for accessing the results, unlike in previous years when an SMS code was also available.

However, moments after the results were released, candidates, parents, and schools attempting to access the portal were met with error messages.

To access the 2024 KCSE results one can check via the KNEC portal using this step.

As of now, KNEC and the Ministry of Education have yet to release an official statement.
