Musician Ajay, a member of the Buruklyn Boyz has responded to fast-rising singer Dyana Codes’ accusations that he pulled down her viral hit song ‘Set It’ from YouTube.
In his statement, Ajay who refused to deny the claims seemingly accepted the accusations saying he was okay with the ongoing narrative and that everyone must get a fair share of the cake.
“Hio story ishasemekana imesemekana, acha ikue tu hivo vile imekua. Keki kila mtu akule wote, mtu hawezi kula pekee yake,” he said.
A frustrated Dyana had taken to social media to complain that her song had been pulled from YouTube and that Ajay alongside his team was responsible for her predicament.
The song had amassed almost 3 million views at the time it was pulled down.
“So Ajay and his team decided to pull down my song Set It from YouTube. I’m so angry, I’m so upset, how could they, the guts,” he wrote.
Her complaints elicited mixed reactions from fans who expressed disappointment in the rapper saying it was a poorly calculated move that might dent his music career, others, however, faulted Dyana saying she deserved it for refusing to pay royalties whereas others claimed that the two were clout chasing for an upcoming music video.
