Kenyan author Joan Thatiah has released Confessions of Nairobi Men: Book Two, a sequel to her popular first volume, Confessions of Nairobi Men.

This new book continues her exploration of Nairobi’s complex male experiences, offering readers a collection of raw, bold, and deeply personal stories.

The book draws from three years of interviews with Nairobi residents, featuring narratives that span bravery, heartbreak, resilience, and personal flaws.

According to Thatiah, the stories challenge societal stereotypes, inviting readers to engage with these confessions without judgment.

Her vivid and empathetic storytelling has been praised for providing a mirror to societal dynamics and individual struggles.

This release follows Thatiah’s growing reputation for creating thought-provoking works that resonate with Kenyan audiences.

Confessions of Nairobi Men: Book 2 is a project that’s as much yours as it is mine. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey! It’s been an honour to listen to these stories and bring them to life for you,” Ms Thatiah said.

The release of this sequel marks a 10-book milestone for the author.

“Ten books in, and it all feels just as raw and real as it did on day one,” Ms Thatiah noted emphasising her continued commitment to her craft.

Confessions of Nairobi Men: Book Two is now available at leading bookstores and online platforms such as Text Book Centre and Kibanga Books, with prices ranging from KSh 1,250 to KSh 1,450.
