The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development has announced new appointments in the National Livestock Development and Promotion Service and the Kenya Sugar Board.

In a gazette notice dated January 17, 2025, the newly sworn-in Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Mutahi Kagwe appointed five members to the National Livestock Development and Promotion Service under the National Livestock Development and Promotion Service Order, 2016.

The appointees include: Dr. Hassan Guyo Roba, Erukudi Chris Ekustan, Aloise Loitomaga, Ubah Gedi Ibrahim and Justine Simayiai Rakita.

Similarly, the CS appointed Adhan Sheikh Abdullahi to the Kenya Sugar Board as a member of the Board of Directors under the Sugar Act, 2024.

All the appointees will serve a three-year term commencing Friday, January 17, 2025.
