Fredrick Muyangu alias DJ Spider who is Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition’s DJ has come out to claim that he lost his valuables during the Thursday protests.
Taking to his social media, the DJ alleged that he lost his valuable laptop after police attacked their vehicle.
He noted that he was inside the vehicle which had the sound system and a section of members of the press covering the demos at Kware stage in Embakasi.
Shortly after, they were attacked by the officers who hurled t******s canisters at their vehicle clouding the vicinity and destructing his view.
At the time, his laptop was still playing music.
“And just like that my laptop which was still playing music when we were ruthlessly teargassed at Kware was stolen from our vehicle,” he said.
Images showing the officer attacking the black SUV sparked outrage from a section of leaders allied to Azimio and the Media Council of Kenya which condemned the attack on media.
NTV cameraman Eric Isinte was hit with a teargas canister while KTN cameraman Timothy Aguna was hit with a blunt object that almost cracked his skull during the incident.
